Dr Bruce Wishnov and his entire team from receptionists to medical practitioners are an outstanding practice. This is due to not only the level of their medical knowledge which is exceptional but the caring they show their patients. They literally go the extra mile for you no matter what the situation. You know they actually really care about their patients and know who you are when you come in. There is not a merry go round of staff and if you work there you must live up to his high standards of competence and kindness.

Dr. Wishnov himself is the best diagnostician I’ve ever had as a doctor. He will not give up until he figures out the scope and source of any medical issues you may have and finds the solution to your problems or the options available to you. He also has an uncanny ability to know what is wrong or not wrong before he even sees you and does a thorough examination. That is very rare and what makes it more unusual is that he is always right. His best quality however in my opinion is his empathy and caring for his patients. Many doctors can be very smart but have no bedside manner. Dr. Wishnov is personable, down to earth, nonjudgmental and you can tell he truly cares about you. That is something hard to fake.

In addition he never rushes you, but also knows how to manage his time with patients. Finally he also performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Collagen etc.at which he does an excellent job, but never pushes you to get more even if the protocol calls for it. Just the opposite. He’ll say wait, you don’t need it yet.

They really, truly care about their patients, and even when a report comes back they may not agree with – they put YOU first. Here is my story. I woke up one day with swelling and pain in my right leg. I thought I may have just pulled something, but the pain and swelling got worse each day. By day 4, I woke up and fainted. I’m 37 years old, so that was extremely odd and certainly caused a scare. I called Leanne and she made time to see me immediately that day. After taking vitals and doing an exam, it appeared to potentially be a DVT blood clot in my leg. She advised me to go to an ER as this could be life threatening if not handled properly. I went to Northwest Medical Center and they did a very quick ultrasound. Negative. Good news, right? I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the exam given as they didn’t even go near the area of pain, but I’m not in the medical field so I let it go. The next day, it was worse. WAY worse. So I called Leanne again and she immediately coordinated a STAT appointment with DCA. Well, turns out I had not one, but TWO DVT blood clots. I could have literally died as I traveled for work and was scheduled to fly a few days later. After the diagnosis, I received calls that evening from Leanne and Dr. Wishnov even when he was traveling to follow up and make sure I was informed of the situation, in every way. I can not thank them enough for their attention to detail, for trusting their gut even though initial tests came back negative, and for the best treatment and communication I have ever received.  Dr. Wishnov really cares about his patients and listens to them. He saved my mom’s life by ordering a CT scan to double check the cause of her pain and ovarian cancer was discovered, this type of cancer does not have a screening test. My husband and myself were in the care of a horrible Dr. when the time came to switch. I checked with some other Dr.s and he was the number one recommendation. Dr Wishnov is very thorough and caring. He listens when you talk, a new one for us. He has been a life saver for my husband literally. We are both over 60 and have been to numerous Dr.s over the years and are extremely happy with his practice. Just found this site and thought I would comment. Been going to Dr,. Wishnov for over 10 years. Office used to be mean, nurses were very unfriendly and not willing to help at all. Now the office is happy, helpful, and knows my name from the minute I walk in until I leave and love the new NP. Drama seems to be less. And of course Bruce is a great doctor! Will be staying for as long as he practices medicine.

New to the area and I was referred to this doctor. This office treated me with utmost respect and invited me in. Front office girls were wonderful, the nurses were professional and Doc is a great guy. People in the waiting room were grumpy but considering the area, I guess to be expected. I am glad I was referred to them.

Dr Wishnov saved my life by insisting I go for a battery of tests that ultimately proved I had Cancer. By his insistence on my following through with his instructions I caught the disease early. He on his own time got me into a world class surgeon without the normal 5 week waiting. I had my kidney removed and my prognosis is excellent. None of this would be possible without my primary physician taking the time to follow up with me and manage my case throughout the process. He is not only an excellent doctor but compassionate, and honest. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an old time doctor with cutting edge technology and a staff that is second to none.

First of all, I do not work for Dr. Wishnov nor do I have any affiliations with the office, however my family and I are long time patients and I have had nothing but pleasant service and treatment from the time I walk in until I leave. This office is the busiest office in Boca and yes it gets crazy. The staff is extremely busy – never stopping and usually always smiling. Maybe the ones who complain are the ones that barge in demanding to be seen without appointments or want their medications filled NOW. I have witnessed both and have seen grace under a lot of pressure from the front desk girls while waiting one day for my appointment. I have even heard patients threaten the staff with bad reviews and never returning. And yes I have had to deal with the Office Manager also but have found her pleasant and professional. As for Dr. Wishov and Andrea the NP and the nurses, we think that they are all professionals who give a lot of time and attention to each patient and so yes there is usually a wait. But it is worth it to have an office that actually cares. And they do.
